New website for business formalities
As of January 2023, there’s a new website for business formalities (registrations, changes, deletions … ) in France. These administrative procedures are carried out exclusively on the new website of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
All formalities in One Place
This online one-stop shop has been designed to pass on all business formalities entered by the commercial court where the business or company is registered.
Resulting of the law n° 2019-486 relating to business growth and development, this new website replaces the CFE (centres de formalités des Entreprises). It is no longer possible to file business formalities with CFE or with the registry of a commercial court.
Top Tips for new Businesses
The Registre national des entreprises (RNE) centralises all information concerning commercial, craft, liberal and agricultural businesses in France. These records are freely available for anyone to search on this new website which benefits from a useful English version. It allows to browse through companies, trademarks or patents all in one place. As of July 2023, there’s a new code to classify artisans, craftsmen, and businesses coming into place.
